Self Portrait - Step Two

I am getting farther away from my own appearance so will step away from this for awhile and rework the mouth and the left eye (our left) to see if I can reconnect with myself.

I don't want to hurry and it will be better if I wait, I think.

Thanks, Rhonda! So far, so good, although I need to keep in mind the need to make it look like me. It is easy to fall into the trap of just trying to make the lips look "good", etc. Also, I am finding it difficult to paint in the known flaws in my face - sags, wrinkles (I prefer the term laugh lines), etc. Those come in my next painting session with this.My hair is a number of different colors (I don't color it) and I am finding that difficult, too. We'll see what happens next!
