I finished Zane's portrait yesterday afternoon while painting with my art group. I so enjoyed doing this one, which is unusual with portraiture for me. I think this was because early on in the painting I felt more comfortable with capturing his personality than I usually achieve in portraits.
For my next project, I am feeling the pull to paint on Yupo, stay tuned!

You have captured the essence of this beautiful child so well - You amaze me. I am looking forward to seeing the new YUPO work.
A good friend of mine saw the swap painting you sent me and was so impressed because she swore that she saw that place on her trip to the southwest last month.
Thank you so much, Barb! This was, truly, a labor of love and it did turn out to show my appreciation for how happy this little guy is! I am, truly, so proud of myself for capturing how his personality resonates through the reference photo..something new for me in this journey through portraiture!
I truly appreciate your finding this in my painting...Hugs, Susan
