Anasazi Fantsy on Yupo - Final

I finished this WIP this afternoon while at the Art Club. I just let it speak to me until I decided enough! I have scrubbed it out in places, lifted in places, highlighted in places and air brushed it in places...all in watercolor. Enough! I do like the look of it and, especially, that it was done without reference photo and drawing beforehand.

So, without further ado, here it is.....

Beautiful work from your imagination, Susan. Love those intense blues in there against the oranges and reds :)

This is wonderful, Susan. I can't believe that you did this totally out of your imagination.

Rhonda, thanks! I started out painting in strata, colors that I liked together and they just kinda got excited to be together and did 'this and that' all the way down the page, so I went with whatever they gave me. I knew you would like that blue!

Michelle - It's so good to be hearing from you again! When you grow up in the Southwest and have lived back here for so long, it doesn't take too much imagination to replicate some of what you have seen. This is typical, rather than actual, and resembles no one place.
