Silverton to Ouray

After weeks of not working on this, I finally finished it yesterday while painting with the Thursday afternoon watercolor group. We critiqued this and deemed it finished. Now, on to painting.....what?

Susan,

Beautiful. What a great landscape artist you are. Our prayers are for your DH's speedy recovery so you can continue to travel and paint. Congrats on your new arrival too.

Coni...Thanks so much for your nice comments. Every once in awhile I paint something that I, too, like and this is one of them. I met all my goals I set when I first started this and that doesn't always happen!

Susan, this is beautiful. I really like everything about it especially the background mountains and the wildflowers!

Having lived near this area many years ago, your painting brought back fond memories. This is a lovely painting of the Ouray and Silverton location.

Thanks, Linda I had to remove as spam message advertising GPS-guided trails to this area, so it was good to hear from someone who actually wanted to comment on my painting! I absolutely resent those who will use others' blogs for their personal gain! Go away, spammers!

Thanks again, Linda...Susan
