Candied Apple

This is a candied apple, a project painting for the Watercolor Workshop. I decided this needed to be painted on Yupo, but after seeing all the wonderful candied apple paintings on watercolor paper I am not so sure. This has been a fun project, with many participating this time.

Susan - that looks absolutely good enough to eat and makes my mouth water.

The apple really did come out good enough to eat.
Good job.

Just the right look for a candy apple, perfect!

Thanks Weaver, Gary and Nick...I wanted to make it ooey-gooey-looking and it turned out that way. I much prefer caramel apples with peanuts and drizzled chocolate, but this one does look candied!

Thanks for checking in, Lori! I was especially pleased that this turned out on Yupo to be decent. Sometimes, despite my best efforts, Yupo just does not cooperate. So...get out your Yupo and go for something! I would be very interested in seing it!
