I am a watercolorist living in the desert Southwest, a native of that area. My husband and I enjoyed traveling in our motorhome and I have taken many photographs to be used as reference photos for future paintings on these trips. I have been painting since 2000, it is a passion for me and I have enjoyed exploring all the different subjects to paint; landscapes, florals, portraits, etc. Please feel free to comment below or at susanroper@cox.net.

Colorado Barn - WIP 3
I am calling this WIP 3 since I haven't completely decided if it is finished yet, or not. I like it the way it is, but maybe I have missed something?

Hey Susan..I just saw your blog. Pretty cool! I have a thing for old barns and LOVE your barn painting! I have a lot of pictures of old barns that I took when I went back to Missouri last year if you ever want to paint anymore. Keep up the great work! Your cousin from Yuma.
Love it! I don't think you have missed a thing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wendy. I enjoyed painting this one, as I always do when painting monochromes with sepia.
ReplyDeleteI need to get a hold of you...did you get my e mail?
