I am a watercolorist living in the desert Southwest, a native of that area. My husband and I enjoyed traveling in our motorhome and I have taken many photographs to be used as reference photos for future paintings on these trips. Vicki's Lotus - WIP 2
I still have more to do with the background, but decided to show another WIP before I continue. So far, so good; but I am still hoping to see some of the yellow lotus blossom emerge, soon!
I am really liking this already. Can't wait to see the yellow! The lotus are blooming now and I need to get out there with my camera. I am so glad that you are painting the lotus and hoping that it will encourage me to try one.
