This is the scene we painted in yesterday's mentoring session here. I am thinking I am done fiddling with it, what do you think?
I am a watercolorist living in the desert Southwest, a native of that area. My husband and I enjoyed traveling in our motorhome and I have taken many photographs to be used as reference photos for future paintings on these trips. I have been painting since 2000, it is a passion for me and I have enjoyed exploring all the different subjects to paint; landscapes, florals, portraits, etc. Please feel free to comment below or at susanroper@cox.net.

Susan, this is gorgeous! Such a sense of the landscape going on forever and that wonderful sky really tops it off so well. Love it!
Susan, I love this painting! The winding cactus is just beautiful. This certainly is what our skys look like lately in NV.
