I am a watercolorist living in the desert Southwest, a native of that area. My husband and I enjoyed traveling in our motorhome and I have taken many photographs to be used as reference photos for future paintings on these trips. I have been painting since 2000, it is a passion for me and I have enjoyed exploring all the different subjects to paint; landscapes, florals, portraits, etc. Please feel free to comment below or at susanroper@cox.net.

Silver Tea Pot in Sepia
This is a small study I did today, trying to work with paintings of silver. I may do this one larger, just trying out the techniques.
Thanks Rhonda! I see a few things I will do differently when I do a larger version; but for what it was, a study, I think it turned out rather well. There is nothing like painting silver to make you paint shapes instead of objects!
Susan, you did a great job on showing the shape and the shine of these silver objects :)
